After grazing on lush, green pastures for 18 months, only the best Angus and Hereford cattle are hand selected to be grain finished under wide Wakanui skies, refreshed by breezes off the Pacific Ocean.
In this pleasant environment, New Zealand Wakanui beef is raised totally free from antibiotics and hormone growth promotants. A clear artesian water supply and Mid Canterbury grown, GMO-free golden grain, help create a unique and truly premium beef which is then aged for 21 days for maximum tenderness.

Rump is our main cut of Wagyu available but we can source other cuts on request.
All Aussie Butcher stores source only the best available NZ beef and process it on site. We use only the finest steak cuts, heavily trimmed and aged in our own chillers, this way we can monitor the quality from start to finish. We offer these delicious steaks cut to a decent thickness (no paper thin steaks here folks) and even do extra thick cut steaks for the real carnivores out there. Eye fillet, scotch fillet, sirloin, rump, t-bone, scotch fillet on the bone (Dino steak). It’s all here ready for you to enjoy 365 days a year.
Aussie Butcher only sells New Zealand meat of the very best quality, never importing from Australia or other countries.
